Questions, bugs, or feedback: ray@dahvio.com. I usually respond within a couple of days.
How do I add a lab result?
Open the Labs tab and tap the + button. You can enter LDL, HDL, triglycerides, and total cholesterol. You don't need all of them — the score uses whatever you have.
Why hasn't my score moved?
The lab part of your score updates the moment you add a new lab result. The habit part looks at your last 7 days, weighted most heavily toward the most recent ones, so a single good or bad day nudges it a little rather than swinging it. Give it a few days of consistent logging before expecting a real move.
Where does my data go?
Your labs, habit logs, and score stay on your device — LipidLog has no account system and no server that holds your health data. The only things that leave your phone are anonymous usage analytics and the purchase info Apple needs to run your subscription. Full details in the privacy policy.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Settings → Data → Clear All Data. This permanently deletes your labs, daily logs, scores, and profile from your device. Deleting the app does the same thing.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
In the app, go to Settings → LipidLog Pro to manage your plan, or Settings → Restore Purchases if a purchase isn't showing up on this device. Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through your Apple ID — you can also cancel any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Does LipidLog need Apple Health access?
No — it's optional. If you grant permission, LipidLog reads your step count and weight to log activity automatically instead of you entering it by hand. You can turn this off any time in the iOS Health app under Sharing.
Is this medical advice?
No. LipidLog is a tracking and educational tool, not a substitute for care from a doctor. Always talk to your doctor about your lab results and before changing any medication.
